The first official collection of Rolling Stones rarities, originally released in June 1975 to avoid smugglers. The release combines some legendary out-takes and rarities, as well as focusing on a number of demos that Jagger and Richards composed for other artists (produced by Andrew Loog Oldham or Jimmy Miller). Remastering was done by Bob Ludwig (Gateway Mastering) and varnishing by Sean Magee (Abbey Road Studios). This release is the same as the UK version and includes two additional songs, "Some Things Just Stick In Your Mind" and "We're Wastin' Time", which were not on the original US release.

The Rolling Stones released the album Metamorphosis in 1975. The album departed from their earlier bluesy sound and introduced a more pop-like style. The album was not as successful as their earlier work, but it contains some of the band's most popular songs, including "Fool to Cry" and "Miss You".
