Milestone 30 yearsNirvana is one of the most important bands in rock history. They pioneered grunge and created the indie rock mainstream. In addition, they became a youth spokesperson along with their music in the early 90s. Their album "Nevermind" played a big part in this. This milestone will celebrate its 30th birthday in 2021. To mark the occasion, four special 30th anniversary editions will be released. "Nevermind" was originally released on September 24, 1991, two years after the debut of "Bleach". The album was recorded by Grohl, vocalist Kurt Cobain and bassist Krist Novoselic along with producer Butch Vig at Sound City (Van Nuys, California) and Smart (Madison, Wisconsin) studios.
