The Doors' was originally released on January 4, 1967, and with songs like "Light My Fire," "Break On Through" and "Back Door Man," it became a springboard to success for the young psychedelic rock band. Rolling Stone magazine named it the 42nd greatest album of all time.The three-CD anniversary edition includes a remastered version of the original stereo mix, a remastered mono mix (the first time ever on CD) and a live recording of the March 7, 1967 concert at "The Matrix" in San Francisco, where the band played most of the songs from "The Doors".
