After the release of "Follow The Leader" in 1998, Korn made headlines across the United States. A student at Michigan State was expelled from university for wearing a Korn T-shirt. The reason for the university administration's outrage was the lyrics of the album, which was so popular with fellow students and which went platinum within weeks.
