It's also the second record with new singer and guitarist William DuVall. The record is again produced by Nick Raskulinecz (Deftones, Stone Sour, Evanescence).
Alice in Chains was formed in the eighties and is one of the peak of grunge, which had its strongest period in the first half of the nineties. Unfortunately, the band was heavily influenced by drugs, with both original lead singer Layna Staley and bassist Mike Starr dying of overdoses.
