German label. Label Code: LC 0233 / LC 00233 "Die Stimme Seines Herrn" is the German translation of "His Master's Voice". Please note: Releases on the Die Stimme Seines Herrn/His Master's Voice label often also display the EMI logo. This indicates that Die Stimme Seines Herrn/His Master's Voice was part of the EMI Group and EMI should not be added as a label. The Nipper-trademark was owned in Germany since 1917 by Deutsche Grammophon-Aktiengesellschaft, and later, since 1937, by the Deutsche Grammophon GmbH. It accompanied their records on the Grammophon label. In 1949 it was sold to Electrola Gesellschaft m.b.H., which fused in 1972 to EMI Electrola GmbH.
