Slothrust is an American alternative rock band that originated in Boston, Massachusetts. The group consists of Leah Wellbaum (guitar/vocals), Kyle Bann (bass), and Will Gorin (drums). Formed in 2010, the band is known for its blend of heavy guitar riffs, jazz influences, and introspective lyrics. Slothrust gained attention with their 2012 debut album "Feels Your Pain" and continued to build their reputation with the release of "Of Course You Do" in 2014, which was put out through Ba Da Bing Records. Their music has been characterized by Wellbaum's distinct vocal style and the band's dynamic shifts between quiet, contemplative moments and intense, grungy outbursts. Over the years, Slothrust has garnered a dedicated fan base and critical acclaim within the indie rock scene.
