Ska-P is a Spanish ska punk band formed in Vallecas, a neighborhood of Madrid, in 1994. Known for their politically charged lyrics and energetic performances, the band quickly gained a following with their blend of ska and punk music, infused with sharp social commentary. Their breakthrough album "El Vals del Obrero," released in 1996, was well-received and helped to establish them as a significant force within the Spanish and international ska scenes. Ska-P continued to build on their success with subsequent albums such as "Planeta Eskoria" in 2000, which further cemented their reputation for combining humor with critiques of social and political issues.
