Fripp has collaborated with numerous artists and has contributed to a variety of projects outside King Crimson, including his work with Brian Eno on ambient music projects and his contributions to David Bowie's "Heroes." As a solo artist, Fripp has released several albums, including "Exposure" in 1979, which is his debut solo album and features contributions from notable musicians such as Peter Gabriel and Daryl Hall. The album showcases Fripp's diverse musical interests, ranging from experimental soundscapes to more structured songs. Throughout his career, Fripp has been known for his disciplined approach to music and his philosophical and sometimes unorthodox views on the music industry.
