Pierce The Veil is an American post-hardcore band from San Diego, California, formed in 2006. The band was created by brothers Vic and Mike Fuentes after the disbandment of their previous group, Before Today. Pierce The Veil is known for their unique blend of melodic post-hardcore and pop punk influences. They gained significant attention with the release of their debut album, "A Flair for the Dramatic," in 2007. Their third studio album, "Collide With The Sky," released in 2012, was a commercial success and contained the hit single "King for a Day," which featured Kellin Quinn of Sleeping with Sirens. This track became one of their most recognized songs and a staple in their live performances. Following up on this success, the band released "Misadventures" in 2016, which debuted at number four on the US Billboard 200 chart. Pierce The Veil has built a dedicated fan base through relentless touring and engaging live performances, becoming one of the prominent bands within the alternative rock scene.
