Doro Pesch, known professionally as Doro, is a German heavy metal singer who began her career in the 1980s as the frontwoman of the band Warlock. After Warlock's fourth album, "Triumph and Agony" (1987), Doro pursued a solo career and has since become known as the "Queen of Heavy Metal." Her work is characterized by her powerful vocal style and enduring presence in the heavy metal genre. Over the years, Doro has released numerous albums, with "Angels Never Die" (1993) being one of her solo efforts. She has also shown versatility in her music through projects like "Classic Diamonds" (2004), where she reinterpreted some of her earlier works with orchestral arrangements. In addition to studio albums, Doro has released live recordings, such as "Triumph And Agony - Live," which showcases live performances of songs from the celebrated Warlock album.
