Brian's Imaginary Juke was born from the idea that Brian Eno would have a jukebox full of stunning pop music and high quality ambient sound. Brian Eno is known as an innovator in many areas of music. His genius manifests itself in many different areas, so this compilation of tracks consists of a CD full of inspirational Wonky Pop paired with a second CD full of tranquil vintage ambient music - a collection that fits any situation. Disc 1 features originals of classic Eno cover versions of Fever and The Lion Sleeps Tonight, as well as various other songs from Little Richard, Gene Chandler and Sun Ra to Moondog. Disc 2, on the other hand, collects the origins of quiet, ambient music from Ornette Coleman, Miles Davis, Daphne Oram, Raymond Scott and even Harry Partch to Marcel Duchamp. The newly mastered tracks, which are split over 2 CDs, are accompanied by liner notes by Dave Henderson (MOJO Magazine).
