Kritici dodnes považují My Generation za jedno z nejlepších rockových alb všech dob, časopis Mojo ho označil za druhé nejlepší kytarové album všech dob.

My Generation" masteroval z původních pásů dlouholetý inženýr The Who Jon Astley. Tuto černou vinylovou verzi rovněž smíchal Miles Showell ve studiích Abbey Road pomocí techniky half-speed masteringu.
