Lyrically, "Confessions of the Fallen" again draws on the dark, reflective corners Lewis has always included in Staind songs, yet these ten tracks are more personal than ever. "I'm still dealing with my issues," Aaron says. "And in the meantime, I dream of better times. I hope everyone feels that way now... Better times are yet to come."
