Powerwolf is a German power metal band founded in 2003. They released their fourth album Preachers of the Night in 2013. The album has a very dark and gothic feel, with lyrics about vampires, werewolves and the dark side of the church. The album was very well received by fans and critics and was nominated for the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Award.
