The Pet Shop Boys make a triumphant return - with their new studio album "Electric", the first to be released on their own label X2 Recordings (via Kobalt Label-Services). For the recording of the album, the Pet Shop Boys worked for the first time with Stuart Price as producer. Electric" contains a total of nine tracks - eight new Pet Shop Boys songs and a cover of Bruce Springsteen's "The Last To Die" - and is arguably the most uncompromising collection of dance anthems ever presented by the Pet Shop Boys. The Pet Shop Boys say, "'Electric' is very much focused on the dancefloor. Our albums often evolve in response to their predecessors. While "Elysium" was quite reflective, "Electric" is pretty "on 12"! And working with Stuart Price on a studio album is something we've wanted to do for a very long time."
