Michel Petrucciani is now considered a great lyrical and prolific jazz composer who wrote around 140 titles. On the 20th anniversary of his death, five legendary musicians - Charles Lloyd, Ahmad Jamal, Marcus Miller, Lenny White and Steve Gadd - bear witness and reveal the pianist's legacy and significance. This CD features 18 of his compositions in a 16-page mediabook compiled by Pascal Anquetil. It includes the exclusive track "Montelimar", which has not been previously released on an album.

This album is a masterpiece! Michel Petrucciani' playing is absolutely incredible and the arrangements are beautiful. The album is a mixture of originals and cover versions and all the tracks are fantastic. Colors is a must have album for any fan of Michel Petrucciani or jazz music in general.
