Featuring the same creatures as on the 1986 demo Chamber Of Ages, the new album Resurgence, one of death metal's most prolific and vicious tracks, is the perfect soundtrack for the horrific plague era we all live in. That's right, it sees the return of vocalist Kam Lee (Mantas, Bone Gnawer) and original bassist Mike Borders to the band. Joining them on their journey between time and space are inhuman death metal machine Rogga Johansson (Megascavenger, Rib Spreader) on guitars, Jonny Pettersson (Wombbath) on guitars, Brynjar Helgetun (Crypticus) on drums and solo madman Scott Fairfax (Memoriam, As the World Dies) on guitars. Normally, we would call this mundane lineup a "supergroup", but the Grand Old Ones have spoken and dubbed the new Massacre lineup a "Stellargroup". With the resurrection of Cosmic Horrors and Resurgence oozing pure, unadulterated death metal, the Massacre bosses couldn't be more pleased.
