Even if the content concept of both "Keeper Of The Seven Keys" is not clear to many fans - there is no recognizable thread lyrically or thematically - it didn't detract from the success of both volumes. On the contrary: the second part should be even more successful thanks to the single "Dr. Stein". Musically, the band was oriented towards power metal. The thirteen-minute title track plays all the Helloween trump cards: tempo changes, extensive instrumental passages and concise vocals, that's all!
