V roce 2022 nyní představuje své nové, v pořadí třetí album "Gold Rush Kid". Na otázku, co je to za album, osmadvacetiletý hudebník odpověděl: "To jsem já." A jak se mu to povedlo?

Na desce, kterou Ezra napsal a produkoval v Londýně společně se svým dlouholetým spolupracovníkem Joelem Pottem, čeká dvanáct písní. V tiskové zprávě je popisuje jako "nádherné, přenášející a povznášející". "Všechny znějí jako já. To je to, co je drží pohromadě," pokračuje.

U příležitosti lednového ohlášení "Gold Rush Kid" představil také první singl, euforickou, popovou "Anyone For You", kterou sám popisuje jako "mozaiku textových nápadů nalezených ve starých zápisnících a náhodných momentech sdílených mezi muzikanty ve studiu". "Je radostná a nakažlivá a já si nemůžu pomoct, ale pokaždé, když ji zpívám, se usměju," říká Ezra.
