Legendary fifth album in remastered and expanded form Only last year, Faith No More returned to the scene after a hiatus of almost twenty years with the comeback album "Sol Invictus". In 2016, the crossover and alternative pioneers look back on their previous successes. With "King for a Day... Fool for a Lifetime" and "Album Of The Year", the band re-releases two of their musical milestones in deluxe editions on double CD and double LP. "King for a Day... Fool for a Lifetime" is Faith No More's fifth studio album. Originally released on March 28, 1995, it was the first album without guitarist and co-founder Jim Martin, who was replaced by Mr Bungle guitarist Trey Spruance. Spruance, however, left Faith No More again later that year. For recording, the band moved to Bearsville Studios near Woodstock, New York. Production was handled by Andy Wallace, who had previously worked with bands such as Nirvana, Rage Against The Machine, Slayer and Bad Religion. Fool for a Lifetime" reached number five on the UK album chart and number eight in Germany. As part of the deluxe reissue, all tracks of the album have been completely remastered. In addition, a total of eight rarities have been added, including b-sides such as "Spanish Eyes" and "Absolute Zero" and a cover version of the Bee-Gees' "I Started A Joke".
