This fall, the milestone will be honored with the release of "Hotel California: 40th Anniversary Deluxe Edition". The 2-CD/1 Blu-ray audio package presents the album in remastered sound, includes ten previously unreleased live recordings, and shines in high definition stereo and 5.1 mix. It comes in a 28x28 cm hardcover book and includes rare and never-before-released photos from those years, a replica tour book and a poster measuring approximately 28x56 cm (11x22 inches). The deluxe edition is also available as an expanded 2-CD edition and one CD with the original album remastered. "Hotel California: 40th Anniversary Deluxe Edition" is released with a remastered version of the original album, featuring the US Billboard #1 hit "Life In The Fast Line" alongside two singles. The album Hotel California was nominated for five Grammy® Awards and ultimately won awards in the categories of "Record of the Year" and "Best Arrangement for Vocals". The deluxe edition also presents for the first time ten live tracks recorded at the Los Angeles Forum over three nights in October 1976. "Hotel California" and "New Kid In Town" were first performed at the Eagles' concerts, along with classics like "Already Gone," "Take It To The Limit" and "Witchy Woman," about a month before the album's release. The Blu-ray audio disc features the 5.1 surround sound that appeared on the DVD-A in 2001 and a 192 kHz/24-bit high-resolution stereo mix. This summer, the Eagles celebrated their triumphant return to the stage at Classic East/West, where they garnered rave reviews from critics and fans alike.
