Diana Krall Glad Rag Doll is an excellent album that was released in 2012. The album features Diana Krall singing and playing piano along with an all-star lineup of musicians that includes John Pizzarelli on guitar, Christian McBride on bass and Jeff Hamilton on drums. The album is a mix of jazz and blues standards, as well as a few originals, all delivered with Krall's signature style and refinement. The album opens with the swinging "I'm an Old Cowhand," which sets the tone for the rest of the album. Krall's vocals are smooth and sultry, and her piano playing is top-notch. The next track, "Deed I Do," is a classic jazz standard, with John Pizzarelli showing off some beautiful guitar work. "Glad Rag Doll" is a slow and sultry blues number and "I Used to Love You But It's All Over Now" is a heartbreaking ballad. The album closes with two upbeat numbers, "Just Like a Butterfly That's Caught in the Rain" and "When the Curtain Comes Down." Both tracks showcase the amazing vocals of Diana Krall .
