The band members are real guys from Georgia, USA. They mix classic rock, bluegrass, gospel, arena rock, soul and outlaw country with dizzying ease.
Blackberry Smoke is definitely not in the legion of typical retro bands.

Blackberry Smoke's latest release is called "The Whippoorwill". This record is just great! Just listen to the harmony vocals, the feel in the guitar work, the amazing piano, the laid back ease that these guys exude without compromising energy.

Legendární vydavatelství Earache Records vydává již několik let klasické rockové počiny. Vydavatelství má zkrátka dobrý cit pro věc. Super pohodová kapela Blackberry Smoke je zatím nejlepší rockovou kapelou, kterou Earache Records objevili.

Členové kapely jsou skuteční chlapíci z Georgie v USA. Se závratnou lehkostí míchají klasický rock, bluegrass, gospel, arena rock, soul a outlaw country.
Blackberry Smoke rozhodně nepatří do legie typických retro kapel.

Nejnovější počin Blackberry Smoke se jmenuje "The Whippoorwill". Tahle deska je prostě skvělá! Stačí se zaposlouchat do těch harmonických vokálů, do citu v kytarové práci, do úžasného klavíru, do pohody, která z těch kluků vyzařuje bezstarostnou uvolněnost, aniž by to bylo na úkor energie.

Blackberry Smoke interpretují tento klasický zvuk se současnou svěžestí. Rozhodně jsou to "ti praví"!
