Legendary Norwegian trio A-ha returns with their new album " Cast In Steel"!

When Norwegian trio A-ha announced their end in 2010, millions of fans around the world were disappointed. But the band, which sold more than eighty million records in its nearly three decades of existence, has recently found a common taste in music again and, in addition to kicking off a major world tour soon, will release a brand new studio album in early September!

The album, dubbed Cast In Steel, will hit the market on September 4 and will feature twelve songs in its basic version. But the album will also be available on vinyl and, for fans of the deluxe version, as a two-disc set of six bonus tracks. A-ha left nothing to chance for their big comeback and in recording the new songs they were supported by producer Alan Tarney, who was also behind the first three successful albums Hunting High And Low (1985), Scoundrel Days (1986) and Stay On These Roads, which was released in 1988.

"It all started very simply and without any fuss. Morten would pop into my studio on various occasions and I would play him songs I was working on. He started singing into the songs he felt connected to and ignored the others. This went on like this for a while until we finally had ten or twelve songs," recalls guitarist Paul Waaktaar-Savoy of the first steps of Cast In Steel, adding that another very positive aspect for the creation of the new record was the fact that the band had no set deadline and therefore no time prescription for when they had to be done with the album...

Cast In Steel will be accompanied by a major world tour, during which Magne Furuholmen, Morten Harket and Paul Waaktaar-Savoy and their backing band will perform more than thirty concerts. Before that happens, fans will be able to hold in their hands the tenth studio album, which A-ha are currently promoting with the single Under The Makeup. The single clearly confirms that despite being one of the greatest legends of the last century, the band still has something to say to the music audience in 2015!
