French reissue label, active from 2003 to 2011. Born of the same mould as After Pulp Flavor and Dare Dare (created in 1996), Vadim Music was the most active French label in the rare and cult album reissue business. Doted with a solid experience in the music industry and enjoying international recognition, it has made it its mission to dig up and revive the hidden treasures of the 60s, 70s and 80s European rare groove scene. Driven by an insatiable appetite for research, the Vadim team passionately dived into history’s most exciting musical archives to carry out the veritable restoration of sounds and graphics to create the most prestigious of reissues. Their releases combined formats (CDs, 12’’ and 7’’) and payed scrupulous attention to details like heavyweight vinyl, numbered issues and original artwork for the most parts. Representing over a hundred references from historic labels (Barclay, Philips, Az, Warner Chappell, Dreyfus, Egg, Cam, Polydor, Decca, Montparnasse 2000, Telemusic, Neuilly…), Vadim Music’s catalogue is a true Who’s Who of funk, bossa, pop, soundtrack, library and European jazz.
