Not a traditional record label per sé - instead, Tchibo is a Germany-based retailer brand, originally founded as a coffee mail-order firm in 1949 by Carl Tchilling-Hiryan and Max Herz. The company, now boasting offices all over Europe, has since diversified its product palette to include clothing, toys, household articles, electronic gadgetry, and - most relevantly - music products licensed from various record companies, usually sporting the "TCM" (Tchibo Certified Merchandise) logo. Production runs are made in limited quantities, effectively making each item a limited edition (although they're not indicated nor should be considered as such). For discogs' purpose, the five- or six-digit "article number" (Artikelnummer) should be entered as the release's catalogue number under Tchibo, with the relevant original licenser as the primarly label.
