They differ in musical content in as much as the tunes are the same, but the personnel and sometimes even the instrumentation are very much different on the mono and stereo versions. Although both mono and stereo versions have the same cover (apart from the "stereo designation", the music on the stereo LPs was recorded much later, sometimes years later, than the music on the mono LPs.
