The Pro-ject T1 EVO BT is a turntable that aims to deliver true hi-fi sound at a surprisingly low price. The manufacturing process and choice of premium materials result in a sleek, stylish design and rich, vibrant sound. All without the compromises common in such a low price range. The EVO moniker in the name declares that this is an evolution of the older model line of the award-winning T1 turntables. In designing the EVO, emphasis was placed on both increased operating comfort (the addition of electronic speed switching) and improved sound quality (the Ortofon OM10 (originally OM5) transmission was pre-installed). The internal Bluetooth transmitter was also upgraded to the 5.0, aptX HD high-resolution version.

No plastic parts were used in the manufacture of the chassis and it is carefully made so that there are no voids inside. As a result, unwanted vibrations are effectively eliminated. The T1 EVO BT turntable is fitted with a heavy glass platter with zero resonance. This design results in the perfect elimination of resonances common in other low-cost solutions with a platter made of plastic, aluminium or other lightweight materials. The purposefully chosen feet ensure optimal isolation of the turntable from ambient vibrations and reduce the possibility of acoustic feedback.

Advanced features for high-resolution wireless streaming

The T1 EVO BT turntable is an ideal addition to the modern home. In addition to the built-in phono preamplifier with line-level output, which allows the turntable to be connected to any amplifier (even without a dedicated PHONO input), it also has an integrated Bluetooth 5.0, aptX HD transmitter, which makes it possible to wirelessly transmit the signal from the turntable directly to Bluetooth speakers in the best available high-resolution quality.

An economical audiophile turntable model

The belt from the T1 EVO BT motor drives a new larger sub-plate, housed in an ultra-precise (0.001mm) main bearing with hardened steel axis and brass housing. The sophisticated drive system is the basis for the anti-resonance platform, which ensures smooth and stable rotation of the platter, necessary for precise guidance of the transfer arm and tip in the groove.

The turntable'sstraight arm is based on proven Pro-Ject solutions. The effective 8.6" arm length, rigid one-piece aluminium construction and superior bearing with minimal friction are important aspects for tracking accuracy. The headshell is part of the arm, and in addition to the sleek appearance, this solution avoids vibration and thus brings a significant improvement over the often used removable glued or otherwise mounted headshell. The T1 EVO BT turntable comes pre-installed with a high quality Ortofon OM10 MM cartridge with elliptical diamond tip, presenting a vivid and accurate Hi-Fi sound that is certainly not standard in this price range.

With no complicated setup...

The T1 EVO BT turntable is supplied from the factory with a correctly aligned transmission and pressure setting. After unpacking the turntable from the packaging, all you need to do is to put the drive belt on the sub platter, place the glass platter with felt pad and add the dust cover (all included). No further adjustments need to be made by the user - just connect the turntable to the amplifier. Also included is a heavily shielded phono cable with semi-symmetrical geometry, low capacitance and RCA termination, designed by Pro-Ject.
