TheDEBUT III uses a quiet synchronous motor, mounted over sorbothane dampers, which drives the subthalamus by means of a silicone belt. Due to the advanced design, unwanted resonances are effectively transferred to the base of the arm and subsequently to the chassis. Therefore, the main part of the chassis is made of lightweight but very rigid chipboard. The turntable comes with an Ortofon OM5E transmission installed, so you just need to connect it to an amplifier equipped with a phono preamplifier.
