In 1973, AudioQuest was inspired by the Decca Record Brush, a carbon fiber brush.The British-made Decca Brush was significantly more effective than any of its competitors and left no dust on the surface of the record.Since then, AudioQuest has been manufacturing the carbon brush and selling it successfully around the world. Thanks to the anti-static fibers, dry cleaning has become the most popular way to gently care for and vinyl records.

The new AudioQuest RECORD BRUSH comes with a major innovation. Previous models (including competitors' carbon fiber brushes) could not withstand static electricity well enough because the metal handle created an electrical connection to the user's hand.The user is the "ground" of static electricity, so good electrical contact from the fibers to the hand is essential!

In designing the new conductive carbon fiber brush, AudioQuest utilizes new knowledge and components for a complete design.The innovative Record Brush thus has ideal conductivity from the carbon fibre through the inner parts of theto the conductive gold contacts located exactly where the handle touches the user's fingers.

But that's not all. They revisited all aspects of carbon fibre and ended up using a much finer amount of finer carbon fibre for the new Record Brush.and thinner fibres to make cleaning even more effective, including the finest dirt and not just visible dust.The brush has 1,248,000 highly conductive carbon fibers that are staggered in two rows for the highest cleaning efficiency.Thanks to its precise construction and the materials used, the Audioquest brush is extremely efficient and significantly outperforms most competing products.
