Electronic Music Duo

VCMG is an electronic music collaboration between Vince Clarke and Martin L. Gore, both key figures in the synth-pop and electronic music scene. Vince Clarke is known for his work as a founding member of Depeche Mode, Yazoo, and Erasure. Martin L. Gore is also a founding member of Depeche Mode, where he became the main songwriter after Clarke's departure from the band following their debut album. The project VCMG was announced in 2011, marking the first time the two had worked together since Clarke left Depeche Mode in 1981. Their album "Ssss," released in 2012, was a departure from their pop roots and focused on minimalist techno. The collaboration allowed both artists to explore a genre different from their usual work, showcasing their versatility and continued influence on electronic music.
