The Gutter Twins is a musical collaboration between rock musicians Greg Dulli and Mark Lanegan. Dulli is known for his work with the Afghan Whigs, a band that combined elements of grunge, R&B, and soul, while Lanegan has been recognized for his role as the lead vocalist for Screaming Trees, one of the seminal grunge bands from Seattle. Both artists have also pursued successful solo careers. The Gutter Twins came together officially in 2003, although they had collaborated and appeared on each other's projects in various capacities prior to forming the group. Their music is characterized by a blend of rock, soul, and alternative influences, marked by the distinctive raspy vocals of Lanegan and the moody songwriting of Dulli. The Gutter Twins released their debut album "Saturnalia" in 2008 to critical acclaim, showcasing their dark and brooding musical style.
