Stephen Preston

Stephen Preston is a renowned British flautist, particularly known for his performances on the Baroque flute. He has had a distinguished career as both a soloist and an ensemble player, specializing in historically informed performance practices. Preston has been associated with several leading early music groups, including the English Baroque Soloists, with whom he has performed and recorded extensively under the direction of John Eliot Gardiner.
