Robert Heger (1886–1978) was a prominent German conductor and composer, particularly known for his work in opera. Throughout his career, he held various prestigious positions, including the General Music Director at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich and the conductor at the Vienna State Opera. Heger was highly regarded for his interpretations of the works of Richard Strauss and Richard Wagner, among other composers.
