Formed in the mid-1990s, they became known for their fusion of jazz, funk, and hip-hop with electronica, techno, and house music. The Propellerheads achieved considerable fame with their 1997 single "History Repeating," which featured the legendary singer Shirley Bassey. Their most notable work is the album "Decksandrumsandrockandroll," released in 1998. This album includes tracks such as "Spybreak!" which gained widespread recognition after being featured in the film "The Matrix." Despite their initial success, Propellerheads did not release another album after "Decksandrumsandrockandroll" and eventually faded from the spotlight. Their influence, however, can still be felt in the genres of big beat and electronic music.
