NightMare World was originally conceived by guitarist Sam Shuttlewood in 2008 with the sole intention of creating powerful, dynamic and melodic Heavy/Power Metal. After recruiting Pete Morten (My Soliloquy and ex Threshold) on vocals, the band wrote and recorded the 3 track E.P. ‘No Regrets’ in 2009 at Thin Ice Studios in Surrey, England.That year they went on to play a series of UK shows including Bloodstock Open Air.. After taking a break from the live scene to concentrate on writing and recording a full length offering, in Spring 2015 the group released their debut album worldwide called ‘In The Fullness Of Time’ on Pure Steel Records. Produced by Karl Groom (Dragonforce, Threshold, Edenbridge), mastered by Peter Van’t Riet (Symphony X, Transatlantic, Threshold) and featuring additional orchestration from Daniel Reeves (Former Ted Maul and Akercoke), ‘In the Fullness of Time’ marries driving power metal rhythms, progressive melodies and no-nonsense hard rock riffs.
