Neige Morte

French Experimental Black Metal Band

Neige Morte are an obscure entity from Lyon, France and Gothenburg, Sweden; creating an icy and oppressive hypothermic musical blast. Ponderous and bizarre passages of atmospheric sound crack and give way plunging the listener into frozen riffs as they are carried off by the post-Black Metal current tearing through the heart of Neige Morte. The cruel and nihilistic aesthetic chimes with much of the output of the French underground scene as does the experimental edge found in the five tracks served on this debut platter. Difficult to categorize neatly, Neige Morte are merely interested in engulfing the listener in the slow embrace of frozen death.
