90s British Britpop Band

Menswear was a Britpop band that formed in the mid-1990s, during the height of the Britpop movement in the UK. The band was known for their sharp mod-influenced style and catchy pop tunes. They quickly gained media attention and were part of the Britpop scene alongside bands like Blur, Oasis, and Pulp. Menswear's debut album "Nuisance," released in 1995, contained several hits including "Daydreamer" and "Stardust." Despite their initial success and a strong following, the band struggled to maintain their momentum. They released a second album, "¡Hay Tiempo!," but it failed to achieve the same level of success as their debut. The band eventually disbanded in 1998. Over the years, Menswear's contribution to the Britpop era has been acknowledged by fans of the genre, although they did not have the enduring legacy of some of their contemporaries.
