Joshua Bell is an internationally renowned American violinist, celebrated for his virtuosity and captivating performances. Born on December 9, 1967, in Bloomington, Indiana, he began playing the violin at the age of four. Bell came into prominence after debuting with the Philadelphia Orchestra at the age of 14 and has since performed with almost all of the world's major orchestras and conductors. A Grammy Award-winning artist, Bell has recorded more than 40 albums across a wide range of classical repertoire. His interests also extend beyond traditional classical music genres as he has collaborated with artists from different musical backgrounds.
