John Nelson

John Nelson is an esteemed American conductor known for his interpretations of large Romantic works, including those of Berlioz, Mozart, and Bach. Born in Costa Rica in 1941 and raised in the United States, Nelson has had a distinguished career leading major orchestras across the globe. He has served as the music director of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and the Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, among other positions.
