Jeremy Spencer

British rock musician and former Fleetwood Mac guitarist

Jeremy Spencer is an English musician, best known as one of the original members of Fleetwood Mac. Born on July 4, 1948, in Hartlepool, England, Spencer was a guitarist and singer who played a significant role in the band's early blues and rock 'n' roll sound. He joined Fleetwood Mac at its inception in 1967 and contributed to their first four albums, including the eponymous debut album "Fleetwood Mac" (1968) and "Then Play On" (1969). His style was heavily influenced by 1950s rock and roll, and he was particularly noted for his slide guitar work and his imitations of artists like Elmore James.
