Estonian Classical Composer and Music Educator

Heino Eller (1887–1970) was an Estonian composer and music educator who played a significant role in the development of Estonian classical music. Born in Tartu, he studied music in Saint Petersburg, Russia, and later in Leipzig, Germany. Eller was a prolific composer with a particular affinity for symphonic works and chamber music. His style evolved over the years, incorporating nationalistic elements and reflecting the influence of Romanticism and later 20th-century modernism.
