Enthroned is a Belgian black metal band formed in 1993. The group is known for its dark, aggressive style and satanic themes. Throughout their career, they have been consistent in producing music that adheres to the traditional black metal aesthetic, characterized by fast tempos, shrieking vocals, and highly distorted guitars. Enthroned's discography includes several albums that have been influential within the black metal community. "Prophecies of Pagan Fire," released in 1995, is their debut full-length album and is considered a classic in the genre. They followed up with "Towards the Skullthrone of Satan" in 1997 and "Regie Sathanas: A Tribute to Cernunnos" in 1998, which further cemented their reputation for unrelenting black metal. Over the years, Enthroned has undergone numerous lineup changes but has continued to produce music and perform for a dedicated fan base. Their album "Cold Black Suns," released in 2019, showcases the band's evolution while maintaining their signature sound.
