Dune Rats are an Australian rock band known for their energetic garage punk sound. Formed in Brisbane in 2011, the band consists of Danny Beus on lead vocals and guitar, BC Michaels on drums and vocals, and Brett Jansch on bass and vocals. They quickly gained a reputation for their raucous live shows and irreverent attitude. Dune Rats released their self-titled debut album in 2014, which was followed by their second album "The Kids Will Know It's Bullshit" in 2017. This sophomore effort received critical acclaim and performed well commercially, reaching number one on the ARIA Albums Chart. The band continued to build on their success with the release of their third studio album "Hurry Up And Wait" in 2020, which also debuted at the top of the Australian charts. Known for their catchy hooks and humorous lyrics, Dune Rats have become a significant presence in the Australian music scene and have garnered a dedicated fan base both domestically and internationally.
