French Avant-Garde Duo

Corpo-Mente is a French musical project that blends various genres including trip-hop, opera, and electronic music. The band was formed by the collaboration of Gautier Serre, known for his avant-garde metal project Igorrr, and vocalist Laure Le Prunenec, who is also known for her work with the bands Öxxö Xööx and Rïcïnn. Corpo-Mente's self-titled debut album was released in 2015, showcasing a unique fusion of classical influences with modern experimental music. The project is characterized by Le Prunenec's operatic singing style and Serre's intricate production, creating a cinematic and emotionally charged soundscape. Their work has been appreciated for its innovative approach to music and its ability to cross traditional genre boundaries.
