Swiss-German pop duo

BOY is a Swiss-German pop duo consisting of singer Valeska Steiner and bassist Sonja Glass. The band formed in 2007 after Steiner moved from Zurich to Hamburg, where she met Glass at a music workshop. Their debut album, "Mutual Friends," released in 2011, was both a critical and commercial success, leading to international recognition. The album's catchy folk-pop sound, characterized by Steiner's distinctive voice and Glass's melodic basslines, resonated with audiences, particularly the single "Little Numbers." Following their initial success, BOY continued to tour extensively and released their second album, "We Were Here," in 2015. The duo is known for their engaging live performances and has built a dedicated fan base across Europe and beyond.
