Battery

Battery is a hardcore punk band that was formed in 1990 in Washington, D.C. The band is known for its energetic and passionate style, which blends the intensity of hardcore with melodic elements. Battery became a significant part of the 90s hardcore scene, releasing several albums and touring extensively before disbanding in 1998. They were associated with the straight edge movement, which promotes a lifestyle free of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. After a long hiatus, Battery reunited in 2012 to perform at the Revelation Records 25th Anniversary shows. They have since played a number of other shows and festivals, rekindling their presence in the hardcore community.
