Serbian Progressive Metal Band

Symphonic Metal band based in Belgrade, Serbia 'Aurium' is a Serbian progressive opera rock/metal project formed in Serbia, Belgrade in 2014. Its name was inspired by a medical term (Tinnitus Aurium) describing sounds of physiological or pathological origin, which may or may not always be perceived in consciousness. Colours are the basis of all songs; they hide behind melodies, diving deep below the surface. Lyrics talk about love, life and loss. Originally a rock band, 'Aurium' adjusted its musical style by adding orchestral instruments, textures, choirs and audio effects to color the songs, and many electronic instruments to make it completely understandable.
