The award-winning Bavarian Radio Choir performs these two late works from 1791, the year of Mozart's death, together with the equally famous Munich Chamber Orchestra under Alexander Liebreich and the famous soloists Nuria Rial, Marie-Claude Chappuis, Christoph Prégardien and Franz-Josef Selig. The Requiem, which Mozart did not complete, is heard on this recording in the version by the American musicologist Robert D. Levin.
